I've found that many Dawg fans aren't the best at being able to discern truth from fiction, but regardless I thought this was interesting. I've not heard this concept floated around before. But it does make a lot of sense.
Won't happen because we all know USC has the vote and the leverage to keep Oregon from ever being a part of the B1G, but still fun to ponder.... 😉
When it was announced that USC and UCLA were officially moving to the B1G, I had no idea just how fucked the rest of the conference would be in terms of TV deals. I knew it would be problematic, but I never envisioned it would be this bad.
Does anyone really believe people are going to stream live games on Amazon, or the equivalent, for any significant length of time?
LA. When are you going to give this pipe dream up? You joke about the SC block, but that’s the least of your concerns. Big ten ain’t expanding unless ND wants in . even then they stay pat unless ND wants Furd with them. Big ten won’t dilute by adding more. Why would they?
ACC is locked up until 2036. No one there is going anywhere, and that’s asumming they have a place to go.
The only movement you may see is from the 4 corners. And that’s if they want the $32 million from the big 12 over the $20 mil from the PAC. And others here are saying PAC is only getting $15 mil/ yr. So who knows
But the Ducks aren’t going anywhere. And that’s a good thing.
