this is straight out of a good crime show.
remember he didn’t disclose he worked for law firm who ncaa hired/paid to work on this case.
get an insider to argue random/minor points to grind Deliberations to a standstill….all under guise of intelligent legal considerations and principal(s).
Dee running NCAA compliance was like letting pig Steve Mnuchin run the US Treasury ... crooks
Signed, Paul “the King of Hypocrisy” Dee.
curious, did Miami get a two year bowl ban
plus a loss of 30 scholies Over a 6 year period for not anticipating this issue??
Facts got your tongue DS?
Nice try. I see This is a “Lets go Brandon” moment for the UCLA faithful. You are seeing/hearing what you want to hear.
Let me explain.
1. NCAA had the undeniably corrupt Paul Dee as head of the COMPLIANCE team
2. NCAA didn’t follow their own bylaws or processes in the investigation. Observers were supposed to only observe but instead they repeatedly pushed for penalties.
3. NCAA took convicted felons word over USC or Coach McNair about nature of three 1-2 Minute phone calls.
no proof of what those calls were about was proven. 4. NCAA found no payments or connection to USC admin or a donor.
5. NCAA had an employee for their law firm go onto jury, become jury foreman And conveniently forgot to mention this clear conflict of interest.
6. Judge felt their was enough evidence for a retrial. court of appeals agreed. 7. NCAA settled out of Court. I am sure they thought their case was airtight. 8. Fuck Reggie and his loser parents.
9. And FU haden who let NCAA tarnish Carrolls amazing run of EARNED on the field excellence & dominance
Yes, the NCAA had undercover agents infiltrate USC, foment a culture of arrogance and lawlessness and get caught cheating in order to bring USC down so that they couldn't dominate college football.
It was an Inside Job.
Oh well then that settles everything.
The jury foreman did legal work for the NCAA if I recall, the jury nor the McNair attorneys were aware at the time. An obvious case for recusal.
