Boyz, it's not rocket science....lol. Just basic math. Though I suppose any opp to snub other teams' accomplishments is definitely a science for a few snarky Trojans! 😆

1. SLC is 350 miles away - about same distance as LA to SF.

2. LA is 275 miles away - a little closer than LA to SF.

3. Many in the PNW would rather spend their $$$ on a playoff trip or two rather than a CCG trip....sorta beneath UO (maybe UW too). No such opportunity for playoffs was available for SC or Utah in any of the 4 CCGs each have played in.

4. A Friday night game is much easier for teams a 5-hour drive away to get to. Not true for teams up in the PNW where you pretty much have to fly and take more days off of work.

5. Sort of old hat: Oregon's been to 6 CCGs, won 4 of them, lost 1 and 1 to be decided tonight. UW's been in 3 and won 2 pending tonight's outcome.

6. Population of the CITY of LA (not the whole major metro area) is just a little less than the entire population of the STATE of Oregon. Which is also why I'll usually have more faith a high 3* recruit from LA will pan out over most 4*s from the PNW.

Enough with the excuses. What I'm interested in seeing is if there are more Dawgs or Ducks at this game! Should be a fun one no matter who wins!!
