lol.... I hear where you're coming from, but it's not a con or a ruse. USC's defense can only get better without Grinch. How impactful that will be in 6 days, not sure. But it can't be worse than it was. This is not good news for Oregon.

From what I heard the Grinch had lost the players. That's not necessarily the case now....and thanks to this rejuvenation of sorts, a win in Eugene would be just what the doc ordered to end the season and begin fresh in a new conference in 2024. So I expect all you Trojans to be dialed in on Saturday night.

BTW not much of a poker player beyond an occassional game with friends. I am a little sad that the Grinch left before Christmas, though....wanted to get these for a few SC friends of mine.

Yeah, should be no problem finding a couple talented, 320-pound defensive tackles between now and when the charter to Eugene takes off.

Grinch was in the final stages of year 2 and that assumes year 3 wasn't contracted as an option.

We're fans, not investors. As long as the money it takes to get rid of Grinch doesn't adversely affect what's available to pay someone competent, I don't care about the money.

We will use the extra money from the Big 10 to pay him off.
