My worthless advice for the 10Mil Man follows.
I have noted lately that our staunch OLine is troubled by both blitz and good 4 man rush sets. Our QB has little time to set and throw accurately. This generates the hero complex that gets us last Saturday Results. I have a tip or two resulting from my vast and lengthy free safety experience earned 60+ years ago.
Our 5 O Front can't block complex blitz packs. They also have problems with 4 man DLines such as we saw Saturday Night. That line was big, fast, atletic, well coached, fundamentally sound, and ready to play. What can one do with what we have to buy our QB enough time to do what he must do?
If we have a TE or equivalent that can block, He is our 6 man front. Every play. If he wiffs or remains free, he quickly finds an open spot on his side within 2 seconds as a dump opption.
We now have 3 guys running patterns. I always had trouble with 1 deep, 1 crossing, and 1 in and out. Side won't matter with Caleb's Arm Strength if
