You know how many flashes and good things you have to do in 3 losing seasons for a teams fanbase to still want you back?

They saw him making plays. They saw him elevating his piss poor teammates.

They knew they had a chance every game with him. More often than not it didnt work out but it wasnt horrible QB play. It was good QB play. In fact it was sometimes brilliant QB play. And yes his mistakes were forgivable because there was magic every once in a while. It was just a horrible team. A team that led league in dropped passes.

And yes Carolina was 4-2 down stretch last year and they to had hope.
