He could have done better...he'll go there to die....hopefully his agent got him a big contract and a big buyout...and he doesn't invite some female to speak to the team about sexual harrassment...
Sad to say but I think Michigan State is more committed to winning football than UCLA is. Look what they've accomplished in the last 10 years even in the face of Urban, tOSU and Michigan.
There's going to be better jobs opening up in the next few weeks. He should have bided his time. And MSU may be in a fertile territory, but none of the top athletes are going to East Lansing. This isn't going to change.
Like where? When Michigan State has had a good coach in place they can win the conference and/or make it to the playoffs, or at least a solid NY6 bowl.
It wouldn't be the first time a coordinator or HC was leaving for greener pastures and stunk it up in his final game. Sucks for Oregon State fans though, they had the makings of a really good season and now their future is in flux. I wonder who takes over now? One thing for sure is that if Trent Bray was on our DC candidate list, he's definitely off the market now. If he's not made HC there I think he follows Smith to MSU.

Great get....esp if Bray follows him
Cold. Have articles even been written yet about last nights debacle.
Should have waited 48 hours. Thats just bad karma.
Guess he wasnt talking with ucla afterall.
Huge mistake. He could have done a lot better. Should have been more patient.
Is that why the Beavs looked so bad last night?
