All the reason why Jonas Williams decommitted and flipped to USC. He saw Oregon's interest in Curtis and Lyons and moved on. Can't blame him.
Curtis would be stupid to play for UGA and C. Smart. C. Smart is not QB friendly. He needs a QB to be efficent, hand off the ball to the RB's, pass sometimes and not make mistakes. C. Smart is strong believer of thr run game 70/30 % run/pass.
Curtis should go to Ole Miss and play for C. Kiffin... Cheers.
Other than decency, what would keep Lyons from signing with Oregon, getting some money, going on a mission and then "transferring" to another NIL school?
Oregon worked out pretty well for another SEC territory guy, Bo Nix. If it’s a money move then Oregon wins easily. Perhaps Georgia can’t compete but for sure they won’t compete on strictly NIL. Lyons would have strong leverage on Oregon at that point. Even if he is a year out from enrolling.
KIirby smart has ruined more highly rated qb"s out of hs then probably most other coaches in CFB that should be enough to transfer the kid elsewher add to that his oc who sucks
everyone except Texas and Texas A&M struggle with NIL versus Oregon. Ohio St, Michigan and Ol Miss seem to be competing but Oregon has somehting the others don't NIKE and NIKE contracts in everything related to sports...
