Maybe it was just too complicated for you to understand...like anything else the reality may be different than the program that generates it...look at the computers strength of schedule or the computers ranking of teams...all this stuff leaves out the human element...look at Niki Haley went from a net worth of -$!M in assets to in five years now having a value of +$8M in net assets...human element because no computer could have predicted that..

Speaking of which, Nolen's first visit is to Oregon this weekend, along with Gabriel.

Whereas it's pretty clear now Oregon will be landing OU's ex QB Gabriel, it's not so clear that Nolen will end up in Eugene. But a visit doesn't hurt.

It wasn't that long ago that us pauper quacks were bemoaning the fact that there were unlimited schollies available and traditional powerhouses like USC and UCLA and Washington would simply snap up all the good talent they wanted leaving nothing for the rest of the pac-8/10. Then we got to a 115 limit and finally a 85 limit.

Now we have Trojan fans praising the schollie limit.

What did I say. A million each? Or for both? I am telling you. If usc wanted to spend a few million they could have a top 5 defense in America.

Meaning this. They probably have what 5-6 guys who are really players now? And the rest of their starters we can agree would make excellent reserves?

So. How much you think it would take to get 6 quality starters? Based on the above we know we could get 2 guys for about 750-800k right? Together? That leaves us 4 others. I bet you could get those 4 others easy for $800k for all 4 combined. 1.2 tops. So that means for under 2 mil you could have a top 5 defense likely.

Spend another 3-4 million on the offense for 1 qb. 1 rb. 2 ol and 1 wr. That means for 6 million you could be in the playoff next year and dans buying lots of shirts.

Look at how Oregon is dropping bags. They're not paying that much. It's just a little more than most others are. They're ahead of the game and collecting the players.
