As I posted at the time. SC would have been better off getting a real head football coach and keeping Dart.

Love Caleb, the heisman was cool, But he came with Lincoln Riley (nice guy but like hugs, meh head coach) and the grinch.

USC football will not be relevant for another 5 years , at least. sc

What's the concept of relevant? There isn't a truly solid team this year, beyond Georgia.

lane kiffin does not have two nattys and a heisman. He was a wr coach. Was never a qb coach at usc and didn't win Jack as a head coach. Never had.

Lincoln Riley is a head coach and qb coach.

So nope. Dart and kiffin haven't won anytjkng. Riley's won plenty and Caleb had a great season. As I accurately called. The highlight of Caleb's career was and is the back to back wins against UCLA and Notre Dame resulting in the Heisman Trophy. Enjoy the moments when you have them. As I recall at the time, people were griping and whining that it was not enough.

Caleb beat ND. Pretty much all by himself. Which is my point.

so where is SC now? Caleb is moving on. Outside of Caleb. USC football is a dumpster fire.

You know. Sort of where SC was under Clay Helton. Only clay could recruit the line.
