I just looked it up. They initially signed him in 2017 for 75,000,000 over10
For some inexplicable reason, they extended him or tore up his contract and gave him a new one in 2021 for 10 more years and 95 million
So the guy who had done virtually nothing and his first four years on the job was rewarded with a $95 million deal that get this is fully guaranteed fully

I thought he signed a 10 year $70 million contract which of the time was astronomically expensive. Now it seems par for the course for decent coaches.
But hasn't he been there four or five years? If so, his buyout can't be that much.
Never would have guessed Jimbo would be such a failure. Fire him now.
His buyout will still be astronomical after the '23 season. And I agree, coaching is better with Petrino as the OC.
