Josh Pate, host of the Late Kick on 247 and a pretty respected national college football analyst, came out with his list of the most underrated and the most overrated football teams in the AP Poll Top 25.
#1 most underrated football program? One guess. AP has UO ranked at #15, Pate's model has them at #5. 😳
And one of the 5 most overrated programs? mandb won't like this one bit......AP has UW at #10, Pate's model has them at #23. 🤣
This is not just his personal opinion - he has a college football model he uses to determine these things.
All that said, I don't blame the AP writers - Oregon hasn't earned the right to be placed higher than #15 right now. Way too many question markes.
But it is cool to see that some are actually paying attention to what's going on in Eugene (and in Seattle) these days. 😎
