WSU and OSU are claiming they own revenues for the 2023-2024 academic season. They are entitled to all revenues AFTER July 31, 2024.
400m in DEFERRED TV and bowl payouts. If these things could be handled in real time, there would be nothing to squabble over.
How much of that money did OSU and wazzu actually earn?
So they now own the Pac2 or whatever. What they heck are tehy going to do with it? It is not worth anything at this point and is most likely a money pit of debt.
My understanding is the presiding judge was at one point affiliated with the WSU alumni association.
Thinking this might get overturned on appeal.
Departing teams wanted to take funds coming to the conference in payouts from past bowls and tournaments with them. Since when they were earned they were members.
Osu and wsu said you left. You don't have a vote anymore. We are keeping it all since you ruined the conference and hurt us.
I kind of side with wsu and osu here. But this business of "not hurting anyone". Duh. That's why youbhave legal action stupid. People are hurt. So that caveat solves nothing because the other 10 will all say withikding the funds hurts them.
Also someone owes comcast $50 milllion. Not sure who is paying that
