per 247 Insiders. 8 of the 10 outgoing ( although they won't admit they are leaving) schools are on page with a settlement with OSU/ wsu. Their are two schools being a pain and blocking the settlement. It appears to be UO/ UW. They want the conference dissolved and everything split evenly. They don't even want the pac2 to have the power to expand and continue

It appears UO/ UW want to crush OSU/wsu as much as possible.

My understanding is the presiding judge was at one point affiliated with the WSU alumni association.

Thinking this might get overturned on appeal.

The judge was the past president of the Whitman County Cougar Booster Club. The ruling was expected. As expected, it will be appealed and expected to be overturned.

Yeah, what happened to judges recusing themselves for a conflict of interest? This should not have been allowed to proceed in such a blatant case. Same for the judge that handled the USC RB coach in his lawsuit vs the NCAA. He should have been forced to recuse himself after having attended USC.

Departing teams wanted to take funds coming to the conference in payouts from past bowls and tournaments with them. Since when they were earned they were members.

Osu and wsu said you left. You don't have a vote anymore. We are keeping it all since you ruined the conference and hurt us.

I kind of side with wsu and osu here. But this business of "not hurting anyone". Duh. That's why youbhave legal action stupid. People are hurt. So that caveat solves nothing because the other 10 will all say withikding the funds hurts them.

Also someone owes comcast $50 milllion. Not sure who is paying that

I read or heard somewhere all 12 teams would equally have to pay off the Comcast debt at the end of the contract year before departing.

But since WSU and OSU just fought to be the sole representatives of the PAC 12 and control all the money, a large chunk earned my other schools that actually make the NCAA basketball tournament, they should choke on the entire comcast debt between the two of them.

The Comcast debt is being paid off by withheld payments this year. So it's paid off in two months.

The pac 10 already said they will appeal. Their problem is their argument that they have the right to vote to fold the conference, even though they are leaving. And don't want the 2PAC to have the right to expand .

OSU/wsu want the pac name to expand or merge with Mtn west in the future.

I'm still surprised UO/ UW want to crush OSU/ wsu to their death and to a G5 conference. The hate at the administration level must run deep.
