and came to the conculusion that Miller Moss should not be insured to be USC's starting QB. Watched a lot of throws that were not that good with some great catches by his receivers. Saw some questionable and dangerous throws that were inches away from being intercepted as well...he made some very dangrerous decisions during that game...so IMHO I hope Riley actually has competition at the QB position and gives both the other guys a chance. For those interested watch again..

Talent bailed him out. The game plan didn't do him any favors and he doesn't seem to have been developed much since Helton.
OMG sorry OHT and I have watched the replay several times but you are wwwwwaaaaayyyy of base.
He got away with a lot of lucky throws into coverage.
Problem is, he did good enough to be able to walk if he's not the starter. He's waited his turn, unlike Nelson, and given the situation LR has created, he's gonna have to commit to him if he wants multiple qbs on the roster. This is why playing favorites is a bad idea.
Hmmm.. I hate to think what would happen to the other team if a lot of his throws were good , and not inches away from being intercepted. He reminded me of a kid that's been locked up in his room for two years ,and finally let outside to go play.
His stats could hardly have been more impressive.
But as I posted at the time , he's a game manager , not a game changer. And everything went his way.
He does everything well, nothing great. Reminds me of Slovis. My guess is he's smarter than Slovis.
Good accurate arm quick release, moves ok, can run some. No drama. Players love him.
It's a rebuilding year. He's the starter. sc
