Good news for Bruins. One was thinking NFL and the other portal. Apparently neither liked what people thought of them so they'll run it back in westwood.
Fisch is trying to figure out who to keep from the UW defensive staff. Apparently DeBoer was invited to coach Bama but Bama univited his whole defensive staff. Ow. So Fisch is left to straighten that out. Conspicuously absent is Johnny Nansen in all of this discussion about all the guys coming and going.
I don't get why Bama didn't try to retain their entire D staff. Duh. Why not keep the DC, DL, DB and the others? Bring in DeBoer and his offensive genius. Keep the great D, the players etc. Not that I am not happy to see it happen.
Jim Harbaugh wins the double headed dildo award of the week. While interviewing with the Chargers he ALSO is playing UM. He wants Michigan to assure his salary is the highest in CFB but also protect him against any and all NCAA investigations and penalties. So schools usually have a "for cause" element in the deals. So they could sign a guy for $120 million and if he doesn't win enough, they just wait until the coach buys a kid a hamburger or shows up talking to a kid in a dead period. Basically turns in their own coach and fires him. Tada. Harbaugh wants guaranteed $$$. So he's playing the Chargers and UM against each other. What a surprise for this piece of garbage person.
Apparently Henderson of USC coached in college ball in 2013-2016 at UTSA and Ok State as a grad assistant. Was an all ACC DL himself at G tech from 2003-2005 Not sure of the holes in his resume but probably tried to play pro ball and such.
Still have not heard if Taylor Mays is being retained or where he will be. Never seen someone have so much impact or get so much credit so soon. Probably not all accurate, but good for him.
Based on 24 guys in the transfer portal and graduating anothern15-20 they don't look like they have the personnel to do anything. They're being stripped
Bama DC retired. Bama tried to keep the DB coach but he split to Georgia. The D-line coach is still on staff. The new DC was South Alabama's HC the past 2 seasons. The new DB coach was Buffalo's HC last year. The staff looks good. Real good.
