A lot of big-time bettors lost a lot of money because Hutson led them to believe that Nix was out.
And after the game, Lanning was asked about what would the next 48 hours look like for Nix and he said “I’ll let Kris Hutson answer that one.” Hahaha. You have to like Lanning.
The reality is that Bo was literally a game-time decision. From what we quacks have heard, Saturday morning, no way was Bo gonna play. He hadn't practiced all week, and it looked like no way was he going to play.
Kris wasn't wrong. Ty Thompson practiced as QB1 all week. He just shouldn't have said anything....lol
BTW not sure I've seen a grittier performance from a college QB....Bo literally couldn't move in the pocket, but still made the plays to get the win vs #10 Utah. Crazy.....
With 2 losses, a Heisman ain't gonna happen, but I can't think of a game-long situation that screams most outstanding player than that this season.
Maybe everyone mis-interpreted what Hutson said? It was actually Hutson himself would be out after that serious injury he suffered at the end of the game last week?
