Over thirty years of coaching has culminated in the 2022 Utes. This team checks the boxes of every he wants in a team. Tough QB who can run and never makes mistakes, big physical RB, TE in the mold of Gronkowski, Big WRs, physical O-line that can pass and run block, run-stuffing D, Fast LBs, ball hawking secondary with a shutdown corner. Check. Check. Check.
He’s had great success in Los Angeles and Pasadena over the years in beating the Bruins and SUC. He is the winningest coach in the Pac 12 and nobody else is close.
This Utes team is the personification of Whittington himself, which is a coach’s dream. Lombardi experienced the same thing with his Packers. Like Lombardi’s Packers, the Utes are tough to beat. Not that I’m comparing Whittington to Lombardi.
Yet they lost
Damn Art has fools biting on bare hooks.
He lost to a shitty unranked Florida
No, Washington going to rout the Beavers is an opinion. Facts are different.
Some good points but it may not be the same Utah team as last year with the losses of Devin Lloyd and Britain Covey among others. Still a tough out for any team to play.
Seems like every week you are kissing some school or coaches ass with accolades...get over yourself. How many "best ever, greatest ever , perfect" coaches and teams have you posted on this board about so far for just this season...get over it. Utah's "perfect" team got beat by an also ran Florida team and neither of them looked much better then average at best...so perhaps hold back on the rhetoric a bit until at least the season is over and the dust clears....just my humble opinion..
