$40 mill lawsuit. Kid wants to get paid like a Heisman Trophy winner.

I read somewhere that people usually don't sue people they like. It's not that hard to not be a dick. I have fired hundreds of people if not more. And never been sued. Sometimes you get pissed but spending time in depositions or in court is not fun.

Player sounds like a total pussy, glad he recorded it. Lane is 100% right, this isn't a real job, this is college football. Call Micheal Phelps and cry about it on your own time.

I recorded a conversation (meeting) with an attorney about 10 years ago. The attorney and his private investigator (who was in the room during the meeting) later made false allegations against me in court. He had no idea I had recorded the entire interview. Saved me from a tremendous headache, but in California, it's not legal (recording private conversations). The judge was not happy with me, but was even less pleased with the scumbag attorney and his pos sidekick, so I got lucky.

In Cali, you have to inform the person(s) you're recording prior to the conversation. Guessing Mississippi hasn't got there yet.
