Kid had 45 tackles as a true fresh. Named a freshman all American. Not named a starter in his first and only season, but was considered one of the best Sun Devil defenders. Skinny player, but very talented.

Addition: ASU’s top returning WR, Ricky Pearsall, has also entered the portal. Didn’t have tremendous stats, but appears to be a solid Pac12 level WR……. not sure if I’m picking ASU or Colo to take last place in the P12 south in ‘22. It will be close

@Waldorf yeah, it’s seems to be pretty bad down in Tempe. Gentry kid hinted to a bad overall vibe within the program. Admin should’ve completely cleaned house during the off-season

@August West The allegations against ASU are deeply insitutional. As such the penalties are deep.---ASU is losing its top WR, Ricky Pearsall (who is from Tempe), and one of its best young players, LB Eric Gentry, to the transfer portal. They would have been two of the team’s most important players. Things are going from bad to worse for the Sun Devils.
