UTAH and Colorado both have an advantage over the visiting team if they come from a sea level school. Visitors ned to travel on Wednesday, than practice with pads on Thursday, rest on Friday play on Saturday

Altitude does make a difference. But you don't have to arrive on a Wednesday. You definitely have to be there by Friday morning, preferably Thursday night if you can swing it. Even 24 hours makes a huge difference.
My brother lives near Mammoth Lakes, CA. Every time I visit him I notice the difference on the first day, even climbing a couple of flights of stairs. But by about 24 hours later I'm ready to go on a hike with him, which we usually do, and there are no wind issues by that time. And that's a lot higher than SLC.
These players are in great shape, but the more time you can give them to just get acclimated, the better.
I don’t think the altitude affected us at all only the flags flying in the air
If that were the case, it would work both ways, would it not? Don't professional athletes train and live in high altitude for off season training all the time, and use altitude sleep technology to recover quickly? Wouldn't that give them the same advantage when they came down to lower elevations? No matter how you slice it the better team won.
