Another thing I like about Riley's interaction with the press: his answers match the questions, which means he's listening to the questions and not just queuing up a talking point. So few people in public life have the self-confidence to listen to questions and provide direct answers. And, for that matter, so few interviewers bother listening to an answer before moving on to another question.
