Lincoln Riley hints on coming big defensive front additions

Well I said when this started …we didn’t need a top 5 Bama D to win. Top 40 24ppg. Something like LSU or Tennessee.

Now we’ve missed out on a few players on ESD, but the portal is once again coming to our rescue.

Riley uses it well. Perhaps we are closer than we thought a week ago.

I think we’re closer. As I stated before, we had really poor talent overall in the front 7. Not even Grinch could screw up a defense with the quality that’s coming in. And I agree, top 40ish will get us to a playoff because of the strength of the O. Grinch should be able to improve numbers with these guys…. Still Need a DT

DT Barr is a 3 star. Good player. But I just mentioned the higher ranked players. True difference makers.

Im going on record that the best player on D is going to be Curtis. Maybe not in yr 1…but overall the in the next 3.

He’ll play LB, not safety.

I like the Cobb get as well.

Kyon Barr was offered by LSU and Miami. He's got the tools. He was a 3 star with a high ceiling.
