What a mess.
As this all works itself out, USC doesn't seem to be out front on this. But then again USC is private they they don't like to disclose what they pay anyone.
Some schools like Oregon and Miami have basically established new , well funded departments to deal with this new part of the bidness of college football.
should be interesting to see how this all works itself out. Michigan is in trouble but they won't say why.
As I posted when this all started. These kids will eventually all just be employees of the University, just like coaches. complete with workman's comp, benefit packages etc. If they want to go to class , that's just a benefit. sc
The majority of cfb programs are behind with NIL. There’s only about 5-7 schools who are going full throttle on NIL bags now. There will be hits and misses, and as you mention, schools will tweak their philosophies until some form of authority regulates this nonsense.
