The Pac 12 may be dead, but we haven't seen the last of its institutions playing one another, obviously. Programs like Oregon State and Wazzu may be on the wrong side of the equation at this time (and moving forward), but I can see more teams being added to a west coast "pod", which will still produce regional football. It just won't be known as the Pac 12 anymore; it'll be part of a much bigger conference, and that conference eventually may not be called the B1G. Who knows?
San Clemente posted an interesting article earlier which alludes to this. I think it makes sense, since I don't think the problems associated with extensive travel have really been thoroughly considered, and this proposed/potential set-up could alleviate some of those problems moving forward.
Can't wait to get my weekly fix of MWC at Night, watching New Mexico and Stanford go at it in empty Stanford Stadium. But then again, I don't subscribe to TikTok, so maybe I won't get to see.
four teams a conference doesn't make
