29-6. Ball on Stanford 3. Their own. Yes. 6:33 left. In the 3rd. One play. Pass to Ayomanor for 97 yards. And yea Travis Hunter was in coverage. Why the best player in cfb couldn't run him down I have no idea. Even after the kid caught it Hunter had 97 yards to catch him.
29-12. Colorado targets Hunter twice. Connects once. For 3 yards. 3/out. Punt. Drive takea one minute. Stanford gets ball with 5:06 left and after one play and 5 seconds. Yes. 5 seconds. Stanford hits ayomanor again for 60 yards and another td. To tds in 3 plays spanning 157 yards to the same guy and both going right after Hunter. In a span of 1:10 or so on the game clock. Yep. That included a cu possession. Now it's 29-19
29-19 Cu moves the ball a little bit and the 2nd best player in America takes a 22 yard sack. Grounding. From 4th and 4 on the Stanford 46 all the way back to the 32 of colorado and gives fraud the ball. Disaster of a play. Not sanders last.
29-19 Stanford ball. Drive gets down to the 16 then stanford commits penalty back to 31. On 3rd and 22 stanford fails to convert but Travis Hunter. Best player in vistas America. Shoves hands away from play into wr face. Ayomanor I'd guess. Turnover. Instead of either turnover on downs or a fg Attempt? Hunter give Stanford a first down inside the 10. Stanford scores to make the game 29 to 26 with 12:57 left.
Colorado Scores to make it 36-26
Stanford methodically marches for 7. Lot of shorter passes tk Ayomanor in front of Hunter. Drive goes from 11 left to 5 left. 36-33. Hunter only abused a bite at a time on this drive.
Cu tries to ice game but can only get two first downs. Milked clock as far as they could and took a chance on a pass to Hunter. Who has no legs left to go get it.
Stanford takes over on their 1. Marches length of field almost all on the ground. No hurry. Fg ties game.
Ot Ayomanor posterizes hunter again to tie game in an Odell Beckham like catch. Or was that David tyree in the Super Bowl? Hunter is the victim, but he is not done.
Score tied at 43. Colorado genius takes ball first in ot twice and looky there. They go after Hunter in the end zone. Sanders throws it up for grabs. Awful ball. You don't do that tied. Hunter quits on it and watches stanford intercept.
As you can see, Hunter, single-handedly gave Stanford three touchdowns in a row. And played a big part in Colorado's failure on our fence on to drives. And then completely got obliterated in overtime on defense. Might have been the biggest abuse that I have seen one defensive player take since JJ Stokes anally raped Gerald Henry on the Rose Bowl turf although it took JJ 4 quarters to do that. the Stanford kid opened up Travis Hunter in about 28 minutes of playing time.
Truly the best player in America choked. Sucked. And with the second best player. Lost his team the game.
So if I had to lay blame ?
1 Hunter for just consistent suckitude
2 shadow for the intentional grounding on 4th down and throwing the ball up for grabs in ot.
3 coach neon for the ot decision and playing hunter. And having his team collapse at home in a historic choke.
4 vista. Totally cursed colorado and picked them in a blowout. Easy money. If this test says it's going to be a sunny day tomorrow I would strongly suggest you bet on rain.
Geezuz. This is truly choke city.
Hunters not a bad kid. Nothing to be happy about. Shadow on the other hand is not my fav.
Prime says and does alot of good things actually. Media has made him into the national story and that was a bit much. Im mostly neutral on him in that Im not a hater at all. But this is one giant serving of humble fing pie.
