Just wondering will that have any affect on Lemon possibly transferring? They were best friends and teammates at Los Al right or was that someone else? Both very talented maybe the next Blanchard and Davis combination.

Not only that but I don't think he was enamored with the move to Corner...said at the time Lemon may decide to pack it up...if he does this was not a good move by the coaching staff...Nelson IMHO is too fragile to stand up to Big10 defenses. more suited for the Big12 or ACC...and the kid better add some muscle..

Who has been saying this all year? And who also said that USC needs to get two guys out of the portal because when Will Howard comes one is going to leave? Better hope for the sake of the bowl that Moss doesn't get hurt or portal before the bowl.

I don't know that there is any reason to recruit a 5 star QB these days unless you are 100% sure he is goign to be the starter his freshman year. 5 star QB's do not and will not compete for a starting job.

And once they do get one? They want to be paid. NOW. Or transfer. Schools like USC should just let other teams pay for them and them recruit all the guys who didn't get to start on Day 1

Looks like they need another QB maybe two for depth...lots of folks said they needed to recruit two QB's and many felt that if uSC gets a Portl Transfer either Moss or Nelson..maybe both would be leaving...

I doubt he is paid that by USC. I bet the promise was he could step into Caleb's deals. And he got hurt, he disappointed in the spring and fall. And now they don't trust him due to lack of experience. He probably feels it's time to get paid and he's not going to based on the fact they are bringing in Will Howard. However, there are too many QB's playing musical chairs for too few starting sports. Some school is going to end up with 2-3 guys and USC better be one of them.

Remember whent eh OK STate 4 year starter and record holder transferred? Last year? And Gundy went off aobut guys cashing in? Funny thing was, the guy walked into this new school as a 4 year starter and didn''t even win the starting job. I think he finally played late due to an injury but the grass isn't always greener. Maybe they should do it like Little League and just have a draft every year since everyone throws their name in the hat annually anyway.
