Solid coach. Builds teams and culture. Teams play hard. Nothing fancy on O or D. That’s ok after all the bs cutting edge and air raid crap we were promised. Will recruit well because likable, young, and a real football coach. Light years better than the hacks SC has had since 2010.
If he has all those attributes you think he has why has he not show it with his recruiting. There are quite a few places that have shetty locations that have outrecruited the guy...and if you thought was Harrell was bringing to USC was leading edge that he could teach in a couple of weeks and his playcalling was leading edge after watching his inability to understand how to make adjustments or how to insert any semblance of a runninggame into his offense in a way that actually lays the foundation for an offense with more then a couple tendencies...
I sure hope not. The guy has never shown a great ability to recruit and gets rave reviews for develpoing players into a competitive teamn that wins close and loses close...Fish out of water at U|SC...and his offense sucks IMHO...he would be no better then the 5th r 6th choice if USC was willing to compete for the best out there..in aa shetty PAC he will do much better then the three jeks that proceeded him but turning the Program into an NC level program you better kn ow how to get the talent...andf he has never done that..
Wrong he has had top 50 classes in a backwater place that is tough to recruit to.
"Campbell, with early recruiting classes routinely ranked nationally in the 50s, has put the Cyclones in the top 25 five straight years. Campbell has beaten Texas three consecutive times. He has beaten Oklahoma twice during his tenure but lost to the Sooners in the 2020 Big 12 championship game. That defeat sent the Cyclones to the Fiesta Bowl, where they beat Pac-12 champion Oregon 34-17."
This guy sounds like a really good coach and somebody who could really change the culture at a program. He might actually be a good fit for USC. But after reading that article, would L.A. be a real good fit for him? Sounds like a fish out of water.
Better than that ... only Meyer and Petersen better and they are not coming
After a decade of Pete Carroll afterbirth then Gomer it will be nice to have a real football coach
Safe, B level, 10 win, no championship HC.
Very Bohned.…Very Folt….
yawn

I answered this question. No more unproven dolts with worse or similar records as Helton. MNC winners only. UM, Stoops, Dabo, PC, EdO in that order.
He took a top 7 team and crashed it into the ground this year. Just like a ski jump. He's perfect for Bohned. FU BOHNED!
