Matt Entz base salary at NDSU $380k

Got that fro Internet search...all gave the same number...couldn't find what kind of bonus setup he had but considering where he coached and information on the Cost of Living in that state he was doing quite well as ND is fairly low in those areas..average price of homes in ND $240k

Entz maxed his bonuses 2 out of the 4 COMPLETED seasons he was there as the head coach. If he would've won the national championships this year, he would've won 3 in 5 years,,,, and he had a good chance on doing so.

Entz was at about 400k per year, and actually closer, on average, to the 420k per year mark.

Wouldn't surprise me at all...USC had to really raise the ante to get this guy especially in the middle of his playoffs IMHO...COL in California at even break even would require quite an increase in pay

What surprised me is that a small school with no tv or bowl revenue and probably sparse attendance could pay this much.

Remember it was not that long ago that Paul Hackett was making this. I thik Hackett or even Pete had salaries of 400-600K in the 1999-2022 range. Think pete's first salary was about 600K and they had to pay about the same to get Chow
