or Keyshawn Johnson.
Rank them one through three.
Now that's a tough one.
Mike Williams had the potential to be better than all three, but was a whitie hating knucklehead bully and doesn't get to enter the discussion.
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
not sure. all I know is Keyshawn would be my third choice. sc
I like Kareem Kelly and the bounce passes off his face.
You forgot to mention in 96 a broken hand and in 97 a torn ACL. Of course that‘s not a factor I guess. Whatever but I can’t call 9 years in the NFL a bust. He was voted unanimous All American out of UCLA and the #1 draft choice of the 49ers in 95. Bottom line he was as good a college receiver as I’ve ever seen IMO all 6-5 of him that could run like a deer. Barnes to Stokes will always sit on top all you have to do is watch the speedy SC backs try and catch him.
JJ Stokes hands down the best ever Art is right.
London and its not even close.
Pittman had a breakout year with 88 receptions , is big, 6’4” 220 and good speed. Won’t be25 till october. He is going to have a hell of a career. And I can’t wait to see how Amon ra St Brown does with a great rookie year behind him and now he and his QB know each other. And Robert woods deserves to be in the talk of great USC receivers in the NFL
Keyshawn had 800 receptions for over 10,000 yards and 64 td!s. Those are nfl hall of fame numbers. His two years at USC were better than Pittman’s last two years. And he was outstanding in a Rose Bowl win. For now he has to be picked ahead of Drake and Pittman. But I truly believe drake Will be a great pro and might end up the greatest USC receiver in the long run
JJ Stokes was better than those guys... didn't he have like 300 yards against you fools to win the game at the buzzer? gawd dmannened
Afholter was clutch against ucla, his acrobatic TD's beat your boy Troy Aikman twice in a row lol. I also have Peete higher on the QB list than a lot of people do, right below Palmer in my book. Ahead of Leainart. All just my opinions.
It's interesting that for a school that was running back U for so many years we actually have a real list of great WR's to debate.
No on Colbert & Afholter being above Pittman. For sure IMO.
Robert Woods is higher on that list than those two as well.
Steve Smith dropped too many passes while at USC IMO.
But all these guys had some highlight reel moments!
Steve Smith criminally under rated in the SC receiver rankings imho.
BMW was dominant after he dropped that pass against KSU. Still gets my vote despite being lazy. I would put Colbert ahead of Pittman, maybe Aftholter also.
I heard BMW started studying in the 9O every night his last year....
He literally got fat and drunk.
Cant rate them fully without seeing how their NFL careers pan out...
But as Trojans. You‘re right. No ONE was BMW. No one!
Key did some great things. Lots of TDs I feel. I was at the RB game against Northwestern that propelled him to the #1 overall pick. But only a 2 year guy. But he was a little stiff & not a lot of wiggle. But he was great.
Drakes a bad man. Dont like his routes like the other guys tho. Too many outs vs posts. Catches everything. Not enough TDs for me. I blame the offense. But to be this productive on a crappy team is awesome. They can’t stop him and he is our only threat. He‘s on a pace to break all records.
Pittman Jr was a TD machine too. Broke tackles like Drake. Caught everything. Blocked punts against sissy blues. More deep balls then Drake as well.
Id say Drake then Key then Pittman Jr
But ask me tomorrow I might change my mind. Its that close.
