Monheim is starting practice at LT

Riley claims Jonah Monheim is their best Offensive Lineman so they are moving him to LT to begin with and see how it works out...team is a lot bigger than last season....says the team is much deeper on both offense and defense...

While Jonah can and may in fact be an elite left tackle at this level

he projects to center in the NFL

elite at this level often means 'most consistant' especially on the blind side

this is a sign that SC is still building an elite oline roster and is not quite yet there

but then again at this level you are always rebuilding

as the NFL will always take your best oline after you enjoy them for a year or three

if Elijah Paige can take over at left tackle before the Notre Dame game

and if Emmanuel Pregnon's pass pro improves under Henson

Look out!

Because Caleb will almost never be running for his life until the playoffs

and maybe not even then

I like Tarquin at one of the tackle spots opposite Monheim. I'm impressed with how big and physically ready Paige looks but starting a true FR in a big road game may be asking too much. Monheim, Pregnon, Dedich, Kingston, Tarquin gives us size and experience. Get Talele, Paige, banuelos, Noa and Raymond playing time to sort them out and get them ready for next year. Good Oline freshman class by the way .

I was implying the ceiling versus baseline best practices or current state of the union

right now it is as you say except Pregnon is lining up next to Page with the twos

Quinones is lining up next to Monheim

it will interesting to see how it goes

Tobias Raymond looks to be a sleeper and could be a key depth piece next year

and Amos Talalele lol is going to move a pile or ten

not to mention Alani Noa
