And I went to get a pizza knowing usc was about to start. Still don't know how they went from 3rd and goal from the 22 after intentional grounding what's 12 seconds left to somehow scoring to place later. I even thought they were out of time outs. I would love to see the last couple of minutes of that on YouTube if anyone has a link.

Yeah. Tempe stadium started losing fans at the end of the third quarter. The Coliseum loses them at the half. We took a train to the game Saturday and due to the game ending so late it was a bit of a hassle getting back to the hotel. Had to Uber it. Getting back to Orange County from the Coliseum makes for a long evening too. When I watch a late USC game from home the worst part is waiting around all day for the game to start. Saturdays kickoff at 9:00 am will be weird. No time to pregame it.
I think we had a 9:00 am kickoff at Illinois once. RJ Sowards freshman season and an 11:00 kick off against Purdue in the 90's.
yeah i was there for that one too. I forgot it was a Sunday until you mentioned it. I recall Carson trotting out there. Who knew Drew Brees would turn into such a baller. I rememebr the old people hanging out in the tunnels trying to escape the heat.
...As well it should have. Prime time, two marquee names with national followings, both undefeated. If that game doesn't draw big, nothing will.
I enjoyed the hell out of the last 5 minutes. Great TV. The green jerseys made it even better. sc
