On the ground. Throw in the two bump passes on jet sweeps that are handoffs and USC ran for 195
Marks ran for 7.7 a carry.
Marks was the first RB who ran for over 100 yards against NEB this year, and ran for 146. He is the 3rd to do so in the last 21 games.
The USC D held NEB to 280 yards of offense before the last drive and held them to 10 points for the game. I realize NEB is struggling offensively but they were 5-0 or 5-1 at one point, manhandled Colorado and have a legit solid D with Ruhle and White running it. Very legit D pedigree there.
For a first time starter Maiava did quite well. Cut down onthe catastrophe TO and he will be fine.
USC needs to get back to scoring 35-45 a game and I think he can do that. We always said if their D could just hold people to the 20-28 range we would be thrilled. Their D is now doing that and I get the feeling their D if they can hold this staff together is just beginning to show out. They have some young guys, the scheme is working. And the longer guys are in it, better they do. That goes for anyone or anything. I am sure Belk, Henderson, Lynn, Nua or the LB coach Entz won't stay together forever but they are all very highly regarded and starting to show progress
No offense, but Nebraska is hot garbage.
Marks is a stud. Getting him was THE BEST thing Riley has done in 3 years.
Marks is already over 1000 yards rushing and has 44 receptions for over 300 yards. He is our MVP. And with his receiving ability he should be a second day draft pick
Even w/ the turnovers!
