"First of all" -- a classic dodge to insert a talking point before answering a question. "Did you take a bribe, Senator?" "Well, first of all, I want to say that at the end of the day, my opponent is a scumbag."
"Impact" -- when used as a verb, reflects a public school education.
"Impactful" -- saying this should subject you to corporal punishment.
"Yes, or yeah" -- when used as an introductory response to an open-ended question. "How special was it to sucker punch your brother-in-law on the deciding play?" "Yeah, I really enjoyed it and we laughed about it in the locker room."
Well for all intensive purposes I could care less. It’s a mute point anyway as it doesn’t peak my interest
I have a deep seeded belief that most people are chomping at the bit to understand this.
You have to learn this stuff off the beat and path. Not in the mist of a full classroom. For many on this board you have to speak in lame man’s terms, though once and awhile they’ll get it.
Problem is with certain south oc posters you reap what you sew. It never seizes to amaze me.
