New Playoff Formula Proposed by ACC P12 B10

The commissioners of the Pac-12, Big Ten and ACC have proposed an alternate format for College Football Playoff expansion, per a report from Sports Illustrated: Grow the event to 12 teams and reserve automatic berths for each Power Five champion, with a spot secure for the top-ranked Group of Five team.

Hate the 6 team version.

12 is perfect. 5 champs, 1 group of 5, 6 others. Now the SEC will have to prove it on the field instead of a board room.

Looking at how many times the SEC has won the damn thing I would think they have proven it on the field unlike the Ohio St's, Oklahoma's and Notre Dames that have benn murdered in these playoffs...but seem to always get an invite...and the PAC deserves nothing if they can't prove they belong...and they sure haven't ...and yoju talk about the board room...how in the hell is Oregon better then Cincinnati?

@OldHickoryTrojan SEC has been getting love for years in the BCS/playoffs, etc. Top teams getting credit for beating 4-5 loss teams who stay ranked as 4-5 loss teams.

Oregon has the best win in CFB this year, that’s why they’re there, and yes, Oregon is absolutely better than Cinci.
