New 25 y/o staff member looking at tickets for the first time.
Specifically, looking for a season ticket section that will be fun/engaged.
I thought it was odd that sections 213-215 are in the lowest pricing bracket. Are these seats somewhat undesirable?
Sections 113-116 offer the cheapest access to being near the field. Any thoughts?
Any help is much appreciated! Also posted this in r/fighton.
It's on TV. Football is a made for television event. sc
"The shaded seats are on the south side of the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. That is the side with the press box up top and closest to Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Look for the new Banc of California Stadium and you’ll know you’re on the right side. For on-site parking, lot 6 is closest to the south side entrances but know that the sun hits the parking lot.
Because of the way the stadium is built, the majority of that side is shaded. Your best bet is to make sure you’re seated in sections 105-2 and sections north until about Section 101-14 by the north endzone. While you should be in good shape just about anywhere you sit on that side, getting as close to the center of the southern side of the stadium will only improve your shaded access.
However, some fans have reported that that side of the stadium gets so little sun that it gets chilly. If you find yourself getting shivers, just look across the field at the fans trying to block the sun with their hands as they roast. Slip-on your sweatshirt and enjoy not having to worry about sweat and sunscreen like they are."

213-215 are no bueno, but if you must don't sit down low, mid to higher seats are better. I have sat pretty much everywhere the Grey Lady has to offer. My favorite place was Tunnel 23 (sec 322 now) high up but that was ok with me. great visibility lines. Where I found the most engagement from fans was section 109 and section 119. Sat in T 7 for a couple of years and that sucked. Old people talking about bullshit and not even watching the game. annoying. I don't have season tix anymore but I go to the big home games and many of the road games. I like good seats so Stubhub is the way I go now. Good luck and enjoy.
I can't tell you whether the people in any section will be engaged but I can give you my opinion on the sections where I sat for over 40 years. Bear in mind that when I sat there, they were all public seats, meaning I didn't have to belong to a support group or make a contribution to sit there.
For about 20 years I sat in what is now called section 314. I really enjoyed the perspective, espcially when the offense was moving west to east. It was very easy to see plays develop.
Over time the ticket office moved us toward the press box. We ended up in the top row of what is now called section 110B--like 1 row below street level. At the time, those were the best seats available to anyone not belonging to a support group. Good view but not as good a perspective as in 314.
One other thing, although it's not as big a factor now as it was when I was in school. North side v. south side. When I sat in the student section most of the games started at 1:30 and the sun was brutal. That's why, when I started buying public season tickets, I always wanted to sit with the sun to my back. With all the night games, that's not as big a deal anymore.
And to answer your specific question about 213-215, I'd take those seats over any of the adjacent seats in 211, 212, 216, and 217. Better angle. If you don't mind sitting up real high, the Tier 7 seats are good and a good value.
Hope this helps.
Yeah 213-215 is and zone. Like above tunnel. Length of field view. not my fave
