When the announcer said this was the first time all year Utah dropped in a dime package, he was basically saying teams have figured out Caleb.

Maybe he does come back another year. While he of course won't, he will be a washout after a few seasons. It's half his fault and half on Riley for not recruiting an offensive line or simply being smart enough to call good games.

This offense needs to become more physical and more run focused. All these zero sets or one back set when CW isn't gonna run the ball are a waste of time. Riley seriously isn't even smart enough to self-scout. Time for him to move on. I'ld like to see what KW could do with USC's recruiting potential. His teams would be tough.

Depends on how long he wants to coach. PC is still going well into his 70s in Seattle. I could handle a decade of KW in LA. It would be nice to see USC play real football again before I die. It's not gonna happen with Riley or his predecessors.

Oh, probably not. USC will not want to admit they have made yet another hiring mistake, so they are gonna give Riley all the rope he needs to hang himself. But the noose is coming together far faster than anyone (other than me) would have presumed last year. Riley at this point is damaging his career. His next job is gonna be as an OC; the shine is off on his HC potential.

As I said. He got outplayed by a walk on because the walk-on was willing to do for his team to win what Caleb was not. I don't care how talented you are. In college football at this level, the desire to win in the willingness to do whatever it takes to win is paramount.
