Nico's demands

Latest report from College Football Addiction was it wasn't just money but changes Nico's family demanded UT make for him....they wanted the offense changed and with the change they wanted more money placed in NIL to go out and get him a better offensive line to protect him and without that guarantee they wanted the extra cash as protection for the danger they were putting him in without an improved offensive line...and after his no show Heupel called a meeting with the team leaders for their input on whether Nico should be allowed to return to the team after his no show and it was decided he wasn't so they simply cut him loose.

What is surprising IMHO is that he would pick UCLA considering their offensive line considering how many times their QB's were dropped last season. IMHO he not only lost a large amount of income but also the protection he was looking for if he thought Tennessee's OL was bad wait until he gets a load of UCLA's..

Just ask Aikman. We will get to see his running skills as the protection crashes around him. I already feel sorry for him and his greedy family.

UCLA has a rebuilt line. It will be a top 10 line in the Big 10. There are also a lot fewer good pass rushing ends in the B10 compared to SEC.

He will have time to throw.

that's not saying much....being number 10 in a conference that has what 16 teams has it below average. Why not wait until they've played a game before you decide how good they are?

What four new starters....USC if you are talking about them has their LT, RT and RG all returning. That means two new starters and they have Portal guys to fil those two slots. Let me add I didn't say USC would have one of the top 10 OL's in the conference I merely posted it's too early to tell but based upon UCLA's inability to protect your QB last season it will take a lot of improvement and if Nico didn't like his protection at Tennessee wait til he see's what he gets at UCLA and he won't have a full stadium of fans rooting for him so if the kid is insecure which he appears to be who knows how he will work through that. He also didn't like his last OC and HC who put kids into the Pro's and UCLA has an OC that never called and offensive play during a game.

Surprised Kiffin isn't making a run at him. He needs to replace Dart. Lot more talent in Oxford than Westwood.

Because he went in the Portal in the Spring instead of the Winter he couldn't join another SEC program. Just goes to show how stupid his family was in handling this. If he had left in December he would have been allowed ot go anywhere in the SEC...that's an SEC regulation to prevent late transfers inside it's Conference..
