One of the most amazing stats of the Pete Carroll era is that Pete didn’t lose a November game until 2009. Pete was 29-1 in the month of November. I won’t say what team broke the win streak but it was a bad deal. Pete went 8 years without losing a November tilt. That’s a pretty high bar for Riley. USC is 57-16 in November since 2001. The bruins and Irish are waiting on the backside of the month. For now, the main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing. Put first things first and beat Cal. Riley has a pretty high bar to long jump.

No loss November. Suk it.
I don't see this team peaking. I don't see another gear. I think they have what it takes to survive Cal, cruise past Colorado, and survive ND maybe.
I just don't see them elevating and hitting a new level. Part of that is the D. Part of it is the Offense is already scoring 45 a game. How much more can you expect?
Didn't Dinglefuck Dorrell beat Pom Pom in November of 2006? That broke the 7-game losing streak to the trogans.
And Pete lost several games to unranked teams in September.
What does that mean?
Not a fucking thing.
Riley has been here less than a year, and you’re comparing to the third best coach in school history.
Why don’t we let Riley do his thing first, shall we? Ok? Ok!
Carroll's November run was amazing. Undefeated even in his first season, which ended 6-6.
2009 was not a strong ending. Sure, only 1 loss in November, but another on October 31 and another in December. I think by then Carroll knew he was leaving.
