From what I've been led to believe USC does not accept a grade of D for transfer. It takes a C or better to get accepted to USC. Not so with most other schools. At least this is what used to be the case.
In case you hadn't noticed grades are typically an issue for bringing in JC transfers and that is why you see so few JC transfers getting into USC. They are few and far between. So I guess USC has a bit higher standards then UCLA regarding getting in and it may simply be a case of taking the wrong classes and not grades as I said Gerard reported this I'm just passing the word and he said it was a rumor...FWIW.
@OldHickoryTrojan FYI, people from ASU are the ones who first put on the Info that Lole was struggling in the classroom. Another possible scenario would be some of his classes would not be transferable to certain schools, making it difficult to pass admissions
