Lanning - intentionally using a 12th defender with 10 seconds left was top coaching
Sarkisian - Beat an undermanned OU team but struggled in 1H
Cignetti - Hoosiers vs Ducks in CCG?
Dillingham - Took Whittingham to the woodshed
Lea - Now has Vanderbilt winning SEC road games. That is not a typo.
Dropped out: Day, Cristobal
I thought you called yourself A prognosticator? This is just rear view mirror, change by the week, espn shit
I feel both Dillingham and Lanning have been underrated so far. That may be changing.
I do love the Trojans on here who say, "Give us Lanning's recruits, and we'd be undefeated too" (apparently all courtesy of and only due to Phil's billions). Along with Texas and tOSU, "The best teams money can buy", right, sceldorado?
But I'm not sure it works that way in that having the best recruits automatically allows you to win all (or most of) your games. Otherwise USC would have had many more national championship (or even playoff) appearances since 2005 (almost 20 years ago) with all the recruiting success they've had since that time.
Part of this winning thing has to be due to coaching, me thinks...
Dillingham is one of many "exhibits" (eg. Exhibit A, Exhibit B, Exhibit C...etc...) that illustrate just what a steaming pile of shit Jar Jar Jarmond is as AD at UCLA. Guys like Dillingham and a whole slew of other first or second-year head coaches are getting it done, while guys like Cignetti are killing it in their first year in new programs. Meanwhile, Jar Jar not only allows Fat Bastard to hold the program hostage until Feb. 2024, he then conducts the laziest HC search ever made and hires someone who hasn't even been a coordinator before, not even in fucking high school.
Thanks, Jar Jar, you fucking piece of dog feces.
