What would be an interesting poll of players would be , what percent of players that transfer , when all is said and done, wish they would have just stayed and finished school.
Since the vast majority of kids don't make pro, and injuries happen, my guess is that most kids regret leaving their friends for a chance for more playing time.
We won't know for a few years. But I do know of a former SC quarterback that regrets that decision. sc
He'll ride the pine at Oky....Kiffin already has one foot out the door at Ol Miss so that leaves TCU.....think the kid could have done bettr in his choices if those are his final three...
Matt Cassel stayed......and has made a lot more $$ playing football than Matt Leinart.
