They are a running team. The have have quick, fast running backs and one of the best lines in the conference. When they pass, Franklin is an All-PAC type WR, Hutson is small but fast, Cota has made some big plays too. The TEs are throwbacks - 250 -260 - good blockers but will catch a few. They do not have any Kinkaid-type guys. Nix isn’t asked to do much. He seems to either throw a simple pass to his first read or take off and run.
On defense, they are stout against the run and have some good edge rushers. Linebackers are good with Sowell as their leader. The secondary is very good. The transfer from Colorado - Gonzalez - is a big corner and good in man coverage.
Oregon had the most talent in the PAC last season so where did they finish?
what you don't play the directional-BAMA crimson tide this year?
I told you guys the Oregon CB was good. Patriot.
Shut up Art. Same Schtick. Every week. South alabama colorado. Utah bye. It was funny the first 15 times .
Yeah, and you combine all that with the crowd, and it's a recipe for a Nike victory. I would say UCLA has a chance if Nike turns the ball over a couple of times, but that's going to take a really big game from the UCLA defense. Could happen, but on the road it's tough, and UCLA's defense is not that stout.
Nike looks to be a team that really does lend credence to relentless recruiting, because they're doing it with athletes alone, and their games haven't been close -- except for the one time they played a well-coached team with similar athletes and got the shit beat out of them. But Oregon is proving the jimmies and joes theory.
Never mind all that. Give me your prediction.
