I must be missing the plot here. Oregon, with two losses, is going to a New Year's Six bowl, the Fiesta. They're playing the highest ranked Group of Five school -- Liberty -- the only G5 school in the New Years' mix.
How should the Ducks have been rewarded better? Does everyone think they were invited to the Liberty Bowl?
By the way, this same scenario played out last year. SC, with two losses (both the the same team, just like Oregon this year), drew the G5 team in a New Year's Six bowl. May the Ducks do better than SC did.
Once you get past Georgia v. FSU, there aren't many compelling matchups available from the pool of Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, Mizzou, Ole Miss, and Liberty. I'd say the only one would be Ohio State-Oregon.
Looks like they went for a pair of B1G v. SEC matchups and Oregon and Liberty were the leftovers.
I wanted to see Ducks vs PSU or Ole Miss. But someone had to get stuck with Liberty. It's just to often the PAC. At least it's the last year of this nonsense.
Your false piety is giving you away...Oregon playing the only non-Power 5 team in this game is another slap at the PAC and I would have thought you would have been embarassed by this...just goes to show because you got a wedgie your brain turned off...nothing about BAMA over a terrible FSU in a Bowl matchup with the Number one team in the nation matches the slap given to Oregon and the PAC....of course the PAC should be getting used to it. By the way BAMA is a member of the P5 ....not saying it's going to happen but what will you do if BAMA takes cheating Michigan out? By the way Michigan is the least deserving team in the big show..you don't award the biggest cheat this football season with a spot in the playoffs

Lmao
This really sucks...not a Ducks fan but this is not where you put a team that was supposed to be in the final four...
Nixed checked out. Wuss. He will get drafted. But does he make a 53 man roster? I don't see it.
