I saw a few people on here say they were able to take the NIL funds used for Dante Moore, who flipped to UCLA, on some other guys hence what happened yesterday. Looking at NIL from a ROI perspective, and assuming resources are limited, wouldn’t it have made way more sense to use those funds on proven college football all-conference players in the TP rather than HS 5 stars/high 4 stars? Way better ROI with limited resource.
I think the team that masters NIL will be the team that allocates those resources to all conference sure fire football players in the TP or a sure fire HS 5 ⭐️ QB recruit, not a safety. This is assuming all resources are limited. High School 5 stars have about a 40% hit rate to be all-conference. A portal player who was a 3⭐️ in HS and is now a 4 ⭐️ all-conference player in the TP has already hit. Going to be interesting to see how this plays out. TP has changed everything. If everything stayed the same I would say the days of bringing in 25 HS players/class is coming to an end. Bring in 15-18, and the rest sure fire transfers.
