I know no one here cares, just putting it out there just in case someone does.... 😜
Sure, my quacks are likely gonna lose to either WSU this weekend or Utah next weekend (and/or in the p12 championship game). But it's fun to be somewhere even for a short while I didn't think we'd get to this season, especially with all the injuries to starters plus the limitations of our QB Anthony Brown.
That makes 2 out of 4 seasons at Oregon a Cristobal-led team has been in the running for the CFP. We ducks really had not expected to make a serious run before 2022 or 2023 at the earliest, so this has been a very positive development this season. You can tell that because nobody (including me!) feels we really are the #3 team in the nation this season.
Remember, Oregon was the doormat of college football back when I became a duck fan in the early '80s. Sucks never having numerous national championships, Rose Bowl wins and Heismans like you Trojans and other blue bloods.
So now, decades later, no matter how we quacks got here (thank you, Uncle Phil!), and after the Kelly/Helfrich years with two failed national championship tries, even if it doesn't last past this weekend, it's all still pretty cool for this wide-eyed duck fan.
Good stuff, guys. All I can say is the 12 (or at least 8) team playoffs can't come soon enough... Basically this season there are no really good teams beyond Georgia. And we need an extended playoffs to figure it all out.... Til then we are simply pissin' in the wind.
I’ll say one thing LA Duck you guys have got the 2 best defensive players in the nation Sewell and Thibodeaux IMO.
Oregon has the best win of the year and only one loss, they should be in the Top 4.
That said, I think winning all your games should be rewarded.
Having watched them all year, I still think Bama is painfully overrated.
My Top 10

Congrats LADuck!
Keep up the good work.
All that does is piss me off LADuck. but congrats.
