Bud's win total projection: 9 Brad's best bet: Even; Dan Lanning will field a solid team during his first season with the Ducks, but Oregon is not going to be in College Football Playoff contention. In fact, the Pac-12 will likely miss out on the final four altogether, again. That will change with USC's emergence under Riley and Lanning at Oregon, however. That's two elite coaches on the West Coast who should be able to stiff arm others for recruits in the years to come. Back to Oregon — the only unwinnable game on the schedule is Week 1 at, ahem, versus Georgia in a neutral-site setting in Atlanta. From there, Oregon would need to go 10-1 to hit the over and that seems unlikely.
