This should probably be on the leBron board, but it has some dissimilarities to the Alabama and Georgia seeding in the football playoffs. I seem to bark about this every year with the NCAA baseball seedings also.
Way early, and certainly not offical, but the current Jerry Palm (CBS) seedings have the only 3 Pac-12 teams in the SAME REGIONAL BRACKET. He / they have Arizona, UCLA, and SC all in the South Regional. And if #1 Arizona and #5 UCLA win, they would eliminate the other in the SECOND ROUND. I think one of the criteria for seeding would be to keep same conference teams in different regionals. That's how it seems to work if you are from the SEC. Let's hope the NCAA gets it right. I think they did a pretty good job last year.
That’s normal shit. P12 has never got a fair shake in the seedings
There used to be a hard rule that teams from the same conference not meet before the Elite 8. But as conferences grew and started getting 9-10 tournament bids, that became impossible.
