He bought it with FU money.....do you think that Vince really consider the "appreciation" when/if he ever was going to die? He didn't buy it for the tennis court. He probably bought it one night after his wife gave him a "once in a decade" blow-job.
What surprised me is that he bought it. At 81. I mean, at 81? How many of us at 81 are buying 11,000 SF trophy houses? And for what he paid for it and are listing it for, and the time he owned it, it didn't appreciate that much.
I don’t see paying that much without having a view of the ocean and quick access to the beach. Looks like a nice place but I don’t even know where hidden hills is. Guess it hid from me
Apparently it is a real thing, people think they can harness solar energy through their butthole for a more holistic way to nourish and heal their bodies. Josh Brolin tried it and got horribly sunburned and wrote about it.
I have been out toward Calabasses. I don't get it. Why in the world is that prized real estate? Just because a bunch of rich people moved out there? Looks no different than Canyon Country, Simi Valley, Palmdale. At least Victorville has mountains, a river and access to lakes and Vegas nearby.
I don't get Calabassas at all. It is so overpriced and it is hotter than hell in the summer time. Very few parts of Calabasas are what you see on TV, the rest are just typical valley homes but with vaulted ceilings and asshole neighbors. I am a bit north/west of that and the temp drops about 15 degrees, with a nice afternoon breeze, limited traffic and other "large city issues", but close enough to drive in when I need something.
Yes, but if none of them have any intention of buying it from the others and living there a place like that costs about 25-50K a month just to keep up.
Property taxes alone are about $18,000 per month. They probably dont hire the Mexican gardener for $50 bucks a month either. They hire the landscaping company for $4500 a month who then hires the Mexican gardener, pays him $50 bucks and keeps the rest.
Beautiful grounds and lovely view. Nice master bedroom, but much of the interior design is overproduced and borderline tacky. The whole place looks like a luxury hotel, not a home. Still, I'd love to be rich enough to buy it. Vin did okay for himself, didn't he?
MUCH more excited when Steve's Palm Springs crash pad came onto the market
literally a MCM time capsule

As usual, kids can’t wait to cash in . And there Is a relitter in the family.
I’m surprised he would choose this home. My bet is that it’s his wife’s taste and he went along with it.
