OT: Marines attacked in San Clemente

They should have gone all Iwo Jima on those punks. Bayonets and Ka-bars and hand grenades. Maybe a flamethrower. That'd teach those little fucks a thing or two.

i had a house in the Riviera, block to the beach. Loved it, loved the town. Loved Sonny's. House backed up to a ravine. House next door had a bit of slippage after a storm sent water down the ravine. Wife panicked and insisted we sell. That slippage was 18 years ago...huge mistake to sell. Sold house in 2006, worth lots more now. I cannot afford to buy another and would love to still live there. Still a wonderful town despite the pier punks.

they should have called for help from Gay Fake Marine,... he used to brag that he boxed and kicked the asses of 20 year olds in that area. Surely he could have rescued the Marines. Of course, we proved he was a liar.

This is a weird town. It's got the nicest In N Out and Chick Fil A you've ever seen. The outlet malls there have some of the nicer stores. Clavin Klein etc And as you exit you see the ocean right in front of you. Cute Farmer's Market on Sundays. Great bunch of gay guys at Michaels to give decorating advice for the house. But oddly, right next to Nordstrom Rack here? Is TJ Maxx. Yeah, it's that kind of town. $5 million homes across PCH from a bunch of trailer parks. I've joked many times that it's Adelanto by the ocean. And while they certainly have some nice people and wealthy areas, in many ways it really is Adelanto by the ocean. Railroad tracks sliding into the ocean. Houses sliding down hill. Roving bands of teenagers doing this crap. And a huge swath of the town is untouched since 1952. It's a commercial area where you feel like you're in the movie American Graffitti

Then there's this. And SC is right about one thing. The entitled, self centered completely clueless teenagers down here are not restricted to this town. They just had a pier to display their stupidity at. Hope every one of them gets arrested and then has their ipads and Rice rocket Honda Acura taken away by daddy and mommy. Probably won't do anything for their GHB, Molly, and Ketamine habits.

You see it with them riding their electric bikes at 35 down very crowded pedestrian walkways. Or just theft. You actually also see it in all the help wanted signs down here. All too good to work for $15 or even $20 an hour. Rather make tik tok vids and be paid that way. or take what parents give. Oddly the area also has a lot of people crammed 8 to an apartment struggling to get by. The way Sam Darnold grew up down here is also normal. I'm part of the problem. I come in, jack up real estate prices with my outside money and makes it harder for long term OC people to live and stay. Total area of haves and have nots. These punks are the kids of the haves. Bored, entitled, twisted. handed everything by parents, told the system is corrupt by their teachers, and told they can be anything they want, do anything they want and no one can tell them otherwise by their coaches peers and media. No wonder they're screwed up.

Had this happened in the IE, or the HD, the punks would have had their heads kicked in in about 30 seconds by a bunch of cholos just looking to warm up. Had it happened in Clovis, a dozen boot wearing good old boys would have used their belt buckles as bottle cap openers on these kids teeth. Instead it's OC where bands of roaming teens are misunderstood or bailed out by real estate developer dad.

Mostly because my wife discovered it-lol It's really my fault. If I hadn't shown her the amazing Chick Fil A next door she wouldn't have said "oooohh, what's that over there"

San Clemente leaves a lot to be desired as far as California beach cities go.
