Is watching the sequel hoping it’s better.
No clue what I was thinking.
Netflix makes a lot of bad movies. Most of their originals have some woke equality theme. Gay guy as hero. Chicks fighting alongside men and beating up guys twice their size for the cause.
Rebel Moon sucks. Bad. I mean dialogue so bad you groan and cringe. Acting so terrible you blame it on the script. Just a movie dead set on blowing everything up so we can have 80 minutes of explosions.
I grew up w Star Trek and Star Wars so I get hooked on these space war movies. But omg this premise was preposterous and everything was just stupid. Especially all the tough guy heroines
Anyway. Serious. Save yourself the time. Dont watch either. I regret no one warned me. My movie Pickens are slim. I don’t watch r rated movies. Well very rarely. And g rated ones are a little too childish. So I jump on stuff like this and then want to stab myself in the eyes or pour salt in them after seeing it. Gosh where’s a stupid Adam Sandler movie when I need it
I’m watching reruns of Elementary, the great Sherlock Holmes series on Amazon Prime. I’m on episode 6 of year 3, a great show if you love an updated version of Holmes in New York City.
Currently watching the third season of Lincoln Lawyer. Great show.
Hollyweird has gone off a cliff chasing the woke agenda
they have pushed out most of the real talent for mindless minions that are only interested in the after parties where you check your phone and clothes at the door
Can't wait for the all-female reboot of Saving Private Ryan starring Maya Rudolph and Jane Lynch. If you don't go see it you are a marxist, sexist, racist bigot.
It's so true. I watched an action movie on Netflix about a week ago. I can't remember the title, but it was a flick about some martial arts guy who was seeking justice for this dead brother, who died in custody of some redneck cops. It wasn't necessarily a bad film, it just wasn't really a good one.
Anywho, I came across the title again tonight as I was looking for something to watch. I realized I had seen the movie, but I couldn't even remember how it ended. I wasn't having a senior moment or anything, I just honestly couldn't remember how the third act played out. So, out of curiosity, I fast-forwarded to the third act and watched it again, and some of it seemed vaguely familiar...but not really.
That's the way it is nowadays with so much "content" needed to fill a schedule. It's like fast-food, it just doesn't last, it's not memorable, it's empty calories.
That's something I just don't understand about movies today, even movies made for premium TV. So many of them seem like they just go through the motions and don't even really try.
Watch Peaky Blinders and Tulsa King.
Too late. I watched both….was really mad at myself for watching the second one.
Somehow I thought it would be better.
Speaking of badass chicks, the Lioness show is ok. The polical aspect makes it viewable. They are getting close to touching a nerve in the second season.
